Homeless Ministry

"There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded towards the poor in your needy land." Deut. 5:11

FCC's Homeless Ministry meets every Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Oasis, located downtown at 200 N. First Street, San Jose 95113.

Check out this opportunity for hands-on service including making sandwiches, serving food, encouraging and/or praying for the people in the community, and cleaning
up afterwards. Come experience whatit means to live beyond yourself!

Children are welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult chaperone.

Assemble Friendship Bags
If you've been puzzled about finding an appropriate response to the needy on our streets, perhaps making up a couple of Friendship Bags of your own might provide the answer. Putting together Friendship Bags with your children is a fun and rewarding way to increase their sensitivity to the needs of others.

Donate Clothing, Toiletries, and Miscellaneous Items
Bring these items with you any Saturday. Items cannot be stored at the church during the week.
