This Defending the Faith/Apologetics series addresses the social issues of our time. Critical to how you vote. Why they are important, what are the consequences to society and why the Bible has certain stances against them. It teaches you how to discuss these issues with people at work and at home without insulting people or getting into trouble or even needing to refer to the Bible. You can join the series at any time.

CLASSES 1&2:
How to win Abortion arguments without using the Bible or Religion. Pro-choice, Pro-Life, what are the real issues. Is the fetus murder? How do I convince people it's an important issue. Should we base our voting on just one moral issue? Can a Christian be Pro-choice? Is it OK to not be for abortion but want to allow others to have the option? We will deal with all the possible objections an provide a response for them e.g. Won't outlawing abortion cause women to die in the back alleys? It's a woman's body she should have the right to make a decision. etc.

CLASS 3:
We will address the critical Gay Marriage issue and understand the rational reasons why Christians are responding the way they are.

CLASS 4:
The methods and ethical issues behind Stem Cell Research, Cloning and the creation of hybrid human/animal beings. Cloning, half men half animal beings? Does a clone have a soul? Why the big objections to Stem Cell research. We'll understand some of the stem cell and hybrid methodologies and cures. Why did Christopher Reeves die?

CLASS 5:
Christians and Politics? Jesus WAS involved in Politics! Why aren't you? Should Christians be involved in Politics? Was Jesus involved in Politics? Did Jesus say "render unto Caeser what is Caeser's and unto God what is God?" What are the consequences of legislating morality? What is at stake. Can laws change hearts? This is a critical Election year issue.

About the teacher: Neil is an engineer and entrepreneur dealing in high tech. He specializes in apologetic issues and has taught at various local churches and organizations.
