Yzoo

In 2006 Yzoo was launched as a simpe project to create Meta Crawler search engine, a search engine that merges the results of other major search engines into one, which it remained as until early 2008.

No longer just a meta crawler

Meta Crawl has moved

It was in April 2008 it was decided that with the current 3 free services being offered a site was needed to link the network of services together. So we moved the Meta Crawl search engine to YzooSearch.com as the original domain Yzoo.co.uk was considered to be the best domain to use to link them altogether.

Advertise on Yzoo

While restructuring the family of sites we added our own Adserver to offer advertising direct rather than through third party networks. Currently we are serving ads from the Yzoo Adserver on Yzoo.co.uk and YzooSearch.com to 50% of our visitors, while serving 3rd party ad networks at other times. As the service attracts more advertising, more time and advertising real estate will be opened up to our Adserver across the whole family of Yzoo sites.
