Hello Ladies (and Gentlemen?)

We’ve had a busy busy weekend.  We did some “remodeling” in our back yard (what do you call that?  um… tearing things up and moving things around?)  Now our backyard is actually “usable”!! ROFL!  Zoe’s loving it!!  She can run around and play and we made a little section on our patio for all her little toys and various “vehicles”!!

We had a wonderful 4th, one of the best ever!  Our city moved the festivities from one of the high schools to a really large, open park in the middle of town and not too far from our house!!  So we packed Zoe up in the wagon and walked down there (well… earlier in the day, we drove down there and left a car in the parking lot so we wouldn’t have to walk back…. ROFL).  The weather was perfect!  Absolutely gorgeous.  Not too hot, not too cold.  There were TONS of people.  It was like Disneyland on the 4th of July, I’ve never seen so many people!!  The fireworks were incredible and we were front and center.  Zoe was a little scared at first but she warmed up.  About half way through, she decided she was “Flash Girl” and she was waving around a glow stick, “conducting” the fireworks!!  She’s a riot!  I don’t know where she gets this stuff sometimes!

I wanted to scrap a layout of some of my pictures from the 4th and share them with you, but when I sat down tonight, I got overwhelmed with “store” issues and never got to it… *sigh* (the story of my life!).  So I’ll share one of my favorites and hopefully tomorrow I’ll have time to scrap!!  Here’s one I took of me and Zoe while we were waiting for DH to come back with some grub:

OH!! I forgot the best part…. well I’ll wait until I get the layouts done.. but as you can see, Zoe brought a “friend” (or two…. or three!  ROFL)!! Man she really needs some siblings…

So that’s been my crazy weekend!!  What did you guys do!!  I wanna see pics and layouts!!
