My brother-in-law got married on August 2nd. He married a wonderful gal named Karen (welcome to the family, Karen!) Glen was a groomsman and Dana was the flowergirl. We had a great time.

Prayer Request

Today our landlord told us that she needs us to move out of our apartment in 30 days. She has found other people who are wanting to move in. We were not looking to move at this time so it has come as a shock.

We are looking for God to open doors (literally) for us. We need affordable housing in the Menlo Park area. If anyone has a home or apartment we are looking.

Trip to Yosemite

We took a family vacation to Yosemite a couple of weeks ago. Here are the photos that we took, sorry for the delay in putting them up I lost the camera. Because of the forest fires in Northern California most of the background has haze.

Finally

This past weekend the family and I went to Sonora, CA. Glen went to speak at a church on Sunday and the Kids and I tagged along for a little family fun. (I will add pictures from the trip later).

Sunday as we were waiting for the service to start, Dana and I were walking around the sanctuary. There was a painting on the wall of Jesus. He was wearing a robe with a crown on his head. People and small animals were gathered around to worship him. Dana paused then said:

Dana: Mom look at this.
Me: yes it is a picture of Jesus with people worshiping him.

Dana looked at the picture then very after a thoughtful pause announced, "FINALLY, Now we know what he looks like."
