(WGN-AM) - Nearly a half-million people in Illinois are out of work and looking for jobs. The state's jobless rate is at its highest level in 15 years. These are challenging times for anyone who's unemployed or in danger of losing a job. Walk along Michigan Avenue, ask people what they're worried about these days, and many of them will have the same answer, "jobs."
