A traditional motto of motorcycle enthusiasts is “Live to Ride, Ride to Live.” Although that explains in a nutshell the draw and freedom found on two wheels, it is only a portion of the Victory Riders' mantra. The large part of the vision would be to fulfill the “Great Commission;” sharing the truth of God’s love through the sacrifice of Jesus.  There is also the setting of people belonging to a community of riders that share intensely a common bond.

It doesn’t take long in the biker community to know there is a great need for salvation, a host of hurting people, and the reality that the motorcycle is an incredible conversation starter. A stop at a traffic light brings a “nice bike” comment from an open window in the next lane. Topping off the tank at the local gas station draws someone that has to ask a question about the bike. At a rally with tens of thousands of bikes and thousands more bikers, exchanging ideas and resources, it gives opportunity for the Victory Rider to share a testimony.

A great strength of the Victory Riders is the fellowship times they have together.

Bible Study
Victory Riders meet every second Thursday of the month at Mitchell’s Coffee Shop on 235 N. Kentucky, right in the heart of downtown Lakeland. With an hour of food and fellowship, they have opportunity to hear a portion of God’s Word and spend time in prayer for the needs of friends and loved ones.

Dinner Rides
A monthly dinner ride is on the fourth Thursday of each month. The group meets on the church grounds and then departs on a 20 plus mile ride to a diner of a biker’s liking.

Monthly Rides
Every third Saturday they venture off on a good ride through the hills and flatlands of Central Florida. These rides will be 100 plus miles, and as in all good times of bikers, they eat and visit the local cycle shop.

Special Events
Victory Riders take advantage of multiple rallies and sights around the state, and even around the nation, to spend an extended time doing what they love.
