Prayer Ministries

Victory Church believes in the power of prayer because we know that as we pray, God hears us! This ministry serves to enlist, educate, equip, and encourage people who want to devote themselves to prayer, believing that fervent prayer is powerful and effective. Our mission is to make dependence on God through prayer foundational to our church and provide a solid prayer base that is purpose-driven.

Listed below are several opportunities to join any one of our prayer teams, at any time!

INTERCESSORY PRAYER

Sundays w 9-10:30 a.m. w Chapel

The Apostle Paul exhorts us to "pray in the Spirit on all ocassions with all kinds of prayers and requests... with this in mind, be alert, always keep praying for all the saints" (Epheisans 6:18, NIV). Now, on Sunday mornings, you can come to the Chapel to enter into intercessory prayer, or to be prayed for by mature, Spirit-filled believers. Experience God's power and presence as we agree together for healing, deliverance, and special requests.

MEN’S PRAYER

Tuesdays w 7-7:30 a.m. w Sanctuary

Come a few minutes early for fellowship, then we share requests, hear a brief devotional from Pastor Blackburn, and pray. And if you didn’t arrive early for fellowship—don’t worry—a lot of the guys go out for breakfast after prayer!

LADIES' INTERCESSORY PRAYER

Wednesdays w 10-11 a.m. w Prayer Room

Join us in prayer as we intercede for needs and requests that come into the church everyday. We stand on the promises of God as we stand in the “gap” for the needs of our Body.

PRAYING MOTHERS

Wednesdays w 5:30-6:45 p.m. w Prayer Rm.

With all of the children’s and youth ministries that take place each Wednesday night, this is a key time to pray for God to move in their lives and help them grow in their knowledge and experience of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ONEIGHTY WARFARE PRAYER (YOUTH)
Wednesdays at 6-7 p.m. in FLC Auditorium We get ready for an awesome Youth Service by seeking God’s presence and power to “fill this place.” Young people and youth leaders get together for this important time of spiritual warfare!

LADIES' PRAYER

Thursdays w 7-8 a.m. w Prayer Room

This is a special time for women who want to pray together but need to be able to do so earlier in the morning so they can still get to their jobs on time. Start your day right, together in prayer!

VICTORY PRAYERLINE

Pray on your own schedule w In your own home or office

Prayerline volunteers are emailed throughout the day with urgent prayer needs, which they take before the Lord as often as their schedule allows. Call Renee Cotton at (863) 859-6000, ext. 218, to have your email address added to our Prayerline list.

Prayer Partners pick the times they want to come to the

church office to take prayer requests that are called in from people seeking immediate intercession. Call Sharon Steffy at (863) 859-6000, ext. 209, to sign up for a time that you would like to come in.
