Salvation in Jesus Christ automatically includes a call to ministry.  Every believer is created, saved, called, gifted, authorized, and commanded to serve.  It is the heart of the Christian life.  In fact, God has uniquely shaped each individual for a specific ministry, and how He has made us determines what He wants us to do.  At Victory Church, we allow people to change ministries gracefully, without guilt.  We do not lock people in permanently.  Please take time to carefully review the following ministry opportunities, and then contact us so that we can assist you in your ministry involvement.

» Bible Jam

Victory Church’s version of Sunday school for children in grades 1-5. Using a rotational workshop model, the kids study a particular topic, scripture, and Bible story for five consecutive weeks. Each child rotates through the five different classes and they are better able to learn through the use of different senses and skills. Bible Jam is presently held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning.
  Shepherds

A one-year commitment in overseeing a small group of children as they attend the workshops each week. A ‘pastoral’ ministry in relationships and care; the shepherd’s goal each week is to connect with, and to love the kids. Assist the workshop teacher.
  Workshop Teacher

A five-week commitment to direct a class of kids in an interactive learning environment that fits within your strengths. If you love art, your class will be dealing with arts and crafts; if you love music, then music or motion; if drama, then the kids might act out the Bible story in costumes and with props.

Cheyenne is a town, set in the woods, that we have used over the past 6 years to see many boys and girls make commitments to Jesus. Our volunteer ministries include drama, teachers, assistants, transportation, food services, security and much more. Recruitment begins each April.

One of the ways we are going to connect with the students in our city is through sports evangelism. Got game? Even if you don't, this is a ministry for you. Sports are such a big deal in our area that we are going to capitalize on it. Another local outreach is through Servant Evangelism Projects. This ministry is grass roots, in-your-face, "I am a servant - treat me that way," "Jesus with skin on" kind of ministry.

Because we live in Florida, each week magic fairies come in and help us set up the Oneighty services. These fairies need your help though, as their ministry is very important, and without their ministry, there wouldn't be a service. They need help putting together the student life table, setting up chairs, putting out the volleyball stands, setting up the ping-pong tables, then after the service, they need help organizing and packing away all the equipment. This is a real "servant-hearted" ministry.
