What a way to teach children! The traditional Sunday school program for elementary age children was replaced by a rotating workshop model. Every week the boys and girls visit a different classroom and environment, and learn the same truth for five weeks, using different methods each week. Bible Jam is not "sit down and be
lectured." Bible Jam is hands on and exciting. The teachers are recruited and work in areas that they feel very comfortable in. The children are privileged to approach a lesson, a Bible story, and a scripture in a variety of ways, guaranteed to stimulate their learning somewhere in the five-week period.

Very few children attend church every week. Many are in other homes every other weekend and not always able to attend. With the curriculum structured in five week segments, all are boys and girls will sit in at least part of a rotation.
Each grade level is assigned a pastor shepherd adult that shadows the children every Sunday. Their role is to know the children, pray for them, and then assist in the classrooms with the workshop leaders. The workshop teachers agree to a five week rotation and teach the same lesson to a different grade each week.
Some of our classes are; Potentatous, Soul¹d Out, EnActs, Creation Station, Gluk¹s Place, Word Perfect, Jubilee Alley, Reflections and Rock Cafe. Each name reflects what that class will use as the featured teaching method, such as Rock Cafe with a food project, Word Perfect dealing with computers, and EnActs dealing with drama.
Kids dress in costumes, eat popcorn, create journals, participate in games, both indoors and outdoors, video themselves doing puppets, and a host of other fun things. In fact, our kids have such a great time learning that their parents have restructured their Sunday mornings to allow their children to attend.
We want your children to be with us each Sunday morning at 9 am for Bible Jam.
