MidnightFox is a dark based theme that works well and is also quite usable. I wanted to create something for those that like the dark browser border as it sometimes helps frame the content.

MidnightFox is not perfect but it’s come a long way. I didn’t realize how many users there were until after Firefox 2.0 came out as I got quite a few emails.

It’s not quite complete and I know there is still quite a bit of work to do, but it’s looking pretty good. There is a bug with the URL bar icon that annoys me, but that’s minor. Overall, it’s pretty nice.

New in version 0.7 - Updated black throughout as I tried to fix some non-black toolbars and what not. Also new tabs, bookmark icons and other various updates. MidnightFoxy also was born.

New in version 0.65 - Sage button, some black on black issues and New Tab Button on Tab Bar extension support.

New in version 0.6 new dark URL bar. (search bar will match)

New in version 0.5 is mainly Firefox 2 support along with new tabs and dark right click menu backgrounds.
