The Stars are Set for the World Baseball Classic

Well it is no surprise when the stars of Major League Baseball were given the opportunity to represent their countries in a world-wide baseball tournament, they seized the opportunity.The biggest names in baseball have signed on to play in the tournament this March. Barry Bonds was among the first players to join the U.S. team but once Major League baseball said that any MLB player can participate, they all lined up.

Among the notable names are Vladimir Guerrero, Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz, Albert Pujols, Adrian Beltre - and that is just from the Dominican team! MLB All Stars Derek Jeter, John Smoltz, Chipper Jones, Andy Pettitte, Dontrelle Willis, Derrek Lee and many others will represent the United States.

All-in-all the tournament will feature 16 national teams comprised of the best players in the world. This is the true "World Series" of baseball and sure to be a historic moment in sports history.
