Members of the Central Division of the American League The Chicago White Sox are a Major League baseball team from Chicago, Illinois. They have played in U.S. Cellular Field from 1991 to the present. The founder of the team is Charles Comiskey who was a former major-league baseball player who starred with the St. Louis Browns in the 1880s. He originally founded the team in Sioux City, Iowa and then to compete directly with the National League club it was relocated in Chicago in 1901.
They had one of their best teams since the 1983 club in 2000, won 95 games en route to an AL Central division title and were called "The Kids Can Play". In 2007 the White Sox finished the season fourth in their division with a 72-90 record.
