Dear Trinity Family,

On March 11, 2006, Mary Ann and I will have served this pastorate for 33 years.  First of all, what an honor it has been to serve as your pastors over these years.  Secondly, we feel more called today than when we started in 1973.  Thirdly, we have more vision in our heart for the ministry of Trinity locally, as well as around the world.  In order to have a strong world base we must have a strong home base, which, of course, involves building facilities for our rapidly growing congregation.

We are about to embark upon yet another exciting venture for the ministry of Trinity Church International.  We have been called to reach the next generation with our ever expanding vision.  Where will Trinity be 15 years from now in the year 2020?

In the next 36 months, by God’s grace, we will complete the building of our multi-purpose student center.  This will assure that the next generation will have the facilities they need to continue evangelizing Palm Beach County and the world.  This is going to take tremendous sacrifice and team work to achieve our 20/20 vision.  Mary Ann and I are prepared to make a difference by praying and asking the Holy Spirit to direct us in our giving for this undertaking.  We have never been a high-pressure church; we have simply shared our vision and let the Lord move on hearts.  Our approach has not changed.

We will pray, commit to goals that stretch our faith, and then do what’s in our hearts, as God provides.  Paul said, “so let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”  (II Cor. 9:7)  Paul also says in the sixth verse of this chapter that we will always reap proportionately to what we have sown.

We pay off cars in three years, pay for college in four years, and pay off boats in five years …. Why not pay for our new building in three years?  We can do it, if we will each make a serious commitment, release our faith, and be consistent every week.  Paul also said, “on the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper….” (I Cor. 16:2) NKJ

We look forward to a tremendous 20/20 celebration service on May 20 and 21.

In Him,

Tom and Mary Ann Peters
