A little fun with Google Maps
Sunday, April 17th, 2005So I decided to have a little fun with Google Maps and came up with this: Latest Earthquakes measuring over mag. 2.5. This was put together through a combination of the following:
http://maps.google.com http://mygmaps.com/mygmaps.cgi/ http://earthquake.usgs.gov/recenteqsww/rss.html http://www.snellspace.com/public/usgseq.xslt http://www.w3.org/2001/05/xslt
The map that is generated will center on the lat-long of the most recent earthquake. Clicking on the pins will display the basic data (where, when, how big, etc) and will provide a link to the USGS info page.
