Arts & EVENTS Calendar

The arts are alive at Southeastern. The arts and events calendar is filled with musical performances, plays, and other programs that are both entertaining and enriching. Most events are open to the public, and many are free of charge.

12 Unpland Improv (improvised comedy), Mi Casa Café, 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Admission is free.  
16 Constitution & Citizenship Day event - Curious about the platforms of the Democratic and Republican parties this election season? Come listen from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. as Southeastern professors examine the political positions of each. The event will be held in room 115 of the College of Business & Legal Studies and College of Education building on Southeastern's campus.  
17 Constitution & Citizenship Day event - Why do public servants serve? Come listen to Florida Second District Court of Appeal Judge Charles A. Davis Jr., Polk County Commissioner Randy Wilkinson, and Lakeland Mayor Ralph L. "Buddy" Fletcher share their reasons! The event will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in room 115 of the College of Business & Legal Studies and College of Education building on Southeastern's campus.  
18 Building dedication ceremony for College of Business & Legal Studies and College of Education, 10:30 a.m.  
20 Big Give - This is a free carnival for the public from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Southeastern's campus at 1000 Longfellow Blvd. in Lakeland, Florida. Enjoy games, free food, rides, fireworks, and giveaways. The carnival will be held in The Sportsplex on Southeastern's campus if it rains.

9-10 Christians and Global Warming: A Biblical Approach to Evangelical Engagement conference - speakers will present on Thursday at 9:20 a.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
