Tantei Gakuen Q

It's a so-so detective series with animation by Studio Pierrot. Feature some bothersome characters like Kyuu (the protagonist) and Megumi (the protagonist would-be girlfriend). What makes this series stand off other detective series is a rather good paced storyline and some... unusual abilities of the characters.

New Tales of Symphonia OVA sequel

New Tales of Symphonia OVA sequel

I think I’m going to report the news even later.

Bandai Namco Games announced on Tuesday that Tales of Symphonia: Tethe’alla Chapter, the new OVA sequel series to the Tales of Symphonia the Animation series, has been green-lit. The announcement was made in Tokyo at Tales of Festival 2008, the first event devoted entirely to the 13-year-old “Tales of” role-playing game franchise and its anime/manga spinoffs. Voice cast members from various incarnations of the franchise appeared at the event to perform skits and announce new releases.

BadWare

This will be my first article on a (I hope) very long series of articles related to something that I decided to call it simply like “BadWare” - you might know that there is an organization that deals with this too but only on internet levels,go to www.stopbadware.org. I also though about calling it “SuckWare” or “UglyWare”, but I wanted to keep it simple.

Why? Because everyone can do positive reviews, and ultimately, they won’t change the opinion of the user. Say, how many positive reviews of Firefox had you saw? And how many negative? No, I won’t do a negative review of Firefox because now it’s good enough - the portable editions, at least.

What I want, is that software developers notice the flaws on their design. Maybe that will help them to fix some behaviours.

And I also wanted to ventilate my anger on something, and on this field, there’s plenty to D:

I think this is enough for now. Let’s see what I’ll begin with… Oh, yes, my old friend… clrMAME Pro.

New Hajime no Ippo TV series, 2009

In the most awesome (and as always, late) news in a long, long, long time, Shonen Magazine announces that there might be a new TV series for Hajime no Ippo, starting January 2009.

The Hajime no Ippo manga is still running, and it’s still pretty good, even thought it IS getting repetitive. But will love to see a new take on this manga, the anime is one of my favourite series.

FIFA 2008, NFS Pro Street, and others ported to Genesis

It seems that Tec-Toy, a brazilian hardware & software manufacturer that has the SEGA license to release consoles (like a new Mega Drive or Master System) and games to these systems, now plans to release mainstream games!

FIFA 2008, Need for Speed: Pro Street, The Sims 2 and Sim City are the planned releases. Tec-Toy previously released homebrew quality (low budget) games, but now things seem different. That’s quite good actually, since I’m a fan of the Mega Drive console.

However, the games are mostly ports of cell phone games, so the quality or playability might be somewhat bad.
