Consulted and eventually worked for Yahoo!'s Corporate Development and Strategy office to help educate Y! C-level executives - including current CEO Jerry Yang and President Sue Decker - on mobile technologies as well as writing up recommendations for longer-term mobile strategy decisions (not to launch a MVNO, focus on mobile web, focus on syncing technologies). Worked as Yahoo!'s mobile evangelist and strategist, creating new ideas for mobile products and services, prototyping new applications, helping with global mobile strategy and research, and was first contact for external companies meeting with mobile group.
