Thomas
Sources tell the Washington Post's Jason La Canfora that Devin Thomas is expected to miss about 10-14 days with his pulled hamstring.
Two weeks would be pretty good news considering Thomas was carted off the practice field this morning, but it gives the rookie a big hill to climb to earn a starting job. Thomas was on the sidelines for this afternoon's practice, and his leg was wrapped, but he was putting weight on it. Jul. 24 - 3:45 pm et

Rivers
Philip Rivers completed 18-of-27 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns in Week 6 against the Patriots.
Halloween is still a couple of weeks away, but Rivers might consider dressing up as a mad bomber after shredding the Patriots secondary deep all night with help from his freakishly tall receivers. Rivers needed only four plays to march the offense 98 yards for the backbreaking score in the third quarter. He tossed three scores for the fourth time this season and nearly had five TD passes. Rivers should find more resistance against the Bills in Week 7. Oct. 12 - 11:35 pm et

Jones
Felix Jones' hamstring injury is initially being called a "strain."
Jones didn't seem badly hurt while walking around alone on the sideline Sunday, but this also isn't necessarily a super painful injury. The Cowboys aren't usually secretive about injuries so we should have an update Monday. Oct. 12 - 11:29 pm et

Johnson
Lions coach Rod Marinelli revealed that Calvin Johnson experienced "blurry vision" after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit towards the end of Sunday's loss.
Johnson said that he'll "be all right," but Marinelli wouldn't clarify whether his second-year receiver suffered a concussion. Johnson, who was listed as questionable on the Week 6 injury report due to a knee problem, could miss more practice time this week. Detroit visits Houston in Week 7. Oct. 12 - 10:58 pm et

Hasselbeck
In his post-game press conference Sunday, Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren was pessimistic about Matt Hasselbeck (hyperextended knee) playing again soon.
Hasselbeck hasn't responded to treatment and needs "more exams" on the knee. Holmgren revealed that his top QB was never close to facing Green Bay, despite listing him as questionable Friday. With as bad as Charlie Frye played Sunday, Seneca Wallace looks like the early favorite to start in Week 7 at Tampa. Hang onto Hasselbeck in all leagues until we know more. Oct. 12 - 9:34 pm et

[image] [image] Rams LT Orlando Pace pulled his quadriceps in the club's Week 6 win.
It's nice the Rams got their first win and all, but it cost them. Marc Bulger probably won't have a prayer in Week 7 against Dallas if Pace can't play. The Rams would have to pit journeyman Adam Goldberg against DeMarcus Ware. Oct. 12 - 8:40 pm et

Barber
Marion Barber ran for 45 yards on 17 carries and caught a career-high 11 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown in Dallas' 30-24 loss to Arizona in Week 6.
Barber is an excellent pass-catching back, but had only once before hauled in double-digit receptions in a game and entered Sunday with just 14 grabs on the year. Needless to say it was a monster PPR night, as in a standard league awarding points for catches MBIII posted a week-winning 34 points. The Rams are unlikely to contain the hard-charging Barber in Week 7. Oct. 12 - 8:34 pm et

Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers completed 21-of-30 passes for 208 yards in Week 6, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for another.
Despite being bothered by a sore shoulder for a second consecutive week, Rodgers looked excellent. A couple of his deep balls were off the mark early on, but he was sharp late in the game, which not so coincidentally was when he started completing passes to Greg Jennings. Rodgers will face the Colts next week. Oct. 12 - 8:09 pm et

[image] [image] Correll Buckhalter caught seven passes for 85 yards and rushed 18 times for 93 yards and a touchdown as the Eagles defeated the 49ers 40-26 in Week 6.
Buckhalter filled in nicely for the injured Brian Westbrook and the Eagles were able to tear up the 49ers' defense in the second half. The Eagles actually outscored the 49ers 23-0 in the fourth quarter. Buckhalter may have bought himself some additional touches, but this is still Westbrook's offense whenever he's healthy. Jones-Drew
Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries and added two receptions for 23 yards, leading the Jags to 24-17 victory in Denver.
MJD picked up the running game slack while Fred Taylor was sidelined with a head injury. Clearly the Jags best offensive player, MJD showcased his unique blend of short-yardage toughness combined with homerun hitting ability. The Jags have a Week 7 bye, but MoJo is a must-start against the Browns and Bengals the following weeks. Oct. 12 - 7:19 pm et
