McCain on Letterman, Chihuahua Still #1
Miss it at your own risk: McCain will finally appear on David Letterman's Late Show this Thursday (the day after the final presidential debate) and the two will get a chance to make up. Jossip wonders: "Will Letterman take the Bill O'Reilly route and go all soft and sweet once he has his opponent in the chair? Gay Socialites predicts the show will be "awkward" and COED Magazine thinks McCain will simply "get ripped to shreds." Wizbang Pop! disagrees: Considering McCain has appeared on the show 12 times, it's probably safe to assume the senator and the talk show host will make amends." Freedom Eden hopes it will get Letterman to stop his whining about McCain cancelling.

It's not like we need another bad economic sign, but this one really is bad--and actually is a sign. Google shares shrunk below $350, and Silicon Alley Insider thinks angry shareholders will demand more accountability from GOOG management and talented employees will flee. Besides Google, tech companies getting beaten up include Apple, eBay, Microsoft, and SAP. Meanwhile, mathewingram.com suggests "anyone with a Web-based business that depends on advertising has to be asking: Is this the beginning of the end?"
