You may use much of my material as long as you link to, and credit it. If you use any of my images or other material in ways I deem inappropriate (including but not limited to disparaging, insulting or defaming me) you are violating my terms of use and infringing my copyright. You must remove such material on my request. If you do not, I will file a DMCA notice with your web host and get the images removed. Images which include my portrait or other family members (i.e. my children) may not be displayed at another site without my express prior consent. If an image of me which I own is displayed at another site the same rules apply. You may not use such images without my permission.

Please do not link directly to any image or music files on my site. You’re more than welcome to copy images and music files and host them on your own site (giving me a link and credit at your site would be nice and under the conditions listed above). Just don’t link to what’s on my site, because you and all your visitors will essentially be stealing bandwidth, which I pay for. While I generally like people making use of my site, I don’t like paying for your visitors making use of your site. Besides, if you try to linking directly to my music files and images they will not display at your site because of a feature I’ve activated through my webhost.

MP3 Blog

My Folk & World Music category is an mp3 blog which highlights my favorite folk and world music artists. My sole purpose is to educate people about the cultures from which this music emanates and promote artistic diversity and tolerance. I seek to introduce a wider audience to the music and to encourage readers/listeners to buy the music for themselves. If you like something you heard here, buy it and support the artists. If any owner of a musical copyright objects to a song appearing on my blog, please contact me and I will remove it immediately.

If you write an e mail related to this blog it may be used as material for my blog posts. If you do not wish what you write to appear in this blog then let me know. Do not assume that e mail correspondence is private unless you make that wish known. Of course, if it seems obvious to me that a message is meant only as a private matter I will not publish it.
