Q-layer Delegation Manager is a ready-to-go cloud computing solution that enables enterprise data center managers to smoothly upgrade their infrastructure to a cloud and offer virtual data center services to their end users. Delegation Manager runs on the NephOS Platform, Q-layer's data center abstraction and modeling platform. Using the NephOS extension capabilities and support for CloudApps, Delegation Manager comes with a pre-installed Virtual Private Data Center (VPDC) CloudApp.

The Q-layer NephOS Platform, is a software platform that provides next generation Cloud Computing capabilities. The platform provides a new layer of abstraction termed data center abstraction, plus an integrated data center model, and a cross-platform scripting language for extending the platform with custom workflows. The NephOS platform is designed to fit on top of existing IT infrastructures, whether virtual or physical, and to leverage leading Hypervisor technologies from VMware, Xen, Sun, Microsoft and others. The system provides a complete solution for creating the Agile Data Center to enable Cloud Computing.
