Let’s revisit. I can see from some of the comments we are getting that a new generation of trapped sheep have been visiting the site. And they have the same knee-jerk reactions I got when the site first came on-line:
a. Touch not God’s anointed
b. You’re such a hater
c. This is just gossip
d. What gives you the right…yada, yada, yada?
Here’s what I want those of you out there who have responded, or thought of responding this way, to do.
Open you brand new, obviously unused Bible and look at the following verses just for starters.
1. Acts 20:29-30
2. Romans 6:17, 18
3. 2 Thessalonians 3:14
4. 2 John 9-11
Notice what the verses say:
· Those who teach heresies do not have God , They’re not even saved. (2 John 9)
· We are to take note of these men and women and warn them, not just sit around and wait for God to move. (2 Thess 3:14)
· We are to have nothing to do with them. (2 John 10)
· They do not serve God. (Romans 16:18)
· We are to keep an eye on these people. (Romans 16:18)
· These people serve their own appetites ($60,000 Rolex watch? $1.4 million dollar house?).
· They are deceivers. (Romans 16:18)
· They are wolves. (Acts 20:29)
I could go on, but I think you get the gist of what the Bible is saying.
Those of you who take the religious sounding, but basically cowardly approach of saying: “Well, he belongs to God and God will correct him,” are doing a two step and avoiding your responsibility.
Am I saying everyone should run a website or constantly be in people’s faces? Not at all. But at the same time, you have to be willing to stand. Otherwise, you will end of like Deacon Lee and no matter what happens you will tolerate it. How will you explain that to Jesus when you meet Him at the judgment seat? (2 Cor 5:10, Romans 14:10 [read the whole chapter, not just the single verse])
The Bible calls these men lazy, greedy beasts, flatterers and wolves for starters. I prefer to simply call them pimps since this term best characterizes them in today’s society.
Consider the following:
· The street pimp measures his success by the number of ‘hos he has. The pulpit pimp measures his success by the number of members he has.
· The street pimp measures his success by the amount of Bling Bling he possesses. The pulpit pimp, on the other hand, measures his success by the amount of Bling Bling he possesses.
· The street pimp measures his success by the amount of money his ‘hos give him. The pulpit pimp measures his success by the amount of money his members give him.
· The street pimp’s ‘hos love him despite the fact that he takes advantage of them and does nothing to help them get out of their destructive environment. The pulpit pimp’s members love him, despite the fact that he takes advantage of them and does nothing to help them develop into strong, maturing Christians.
· The street pimp doesn’t want anyone to come between him and his ‘hos , an impact on cash flow, you know. The pulpit pimp doesn’t want anyone to come between him and his members , an impact on cash flow, you know. He trains them to defend him no matter what (touch not God’s anointed).
· The ‘hos’ world revolves around the street pimp (I can’t eat right now ’cause my pimp will beat me if I don’t bring in $1000). The members’ world revolves around the pulpit pimp (”My pastor says…” instead of “The Bible says.” Or my favorite scam , “I can’t pay my rent. But I’m going to tithe and watch God bless me.” This is also played out as “Bless the man of God and God will bless you.”)
Someone once encouraged me not to use “Pulpit Pimps” as the site name. But given the subject matter, it just fits.
The Apostle Paul judged Bar-je’-sus, a false prophet:
Acts 13:6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, “a false prophet” a Jew, whose name was Bar-je’-sus;

Acts 13:12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, “believed,” being astonished at the “doctrine of the Lord.”
The Lord Jesus exposed the religious Pharisees:
Jesus said to the religious Pharisees, “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Matt. 12:34.)
Standing face to face with these false teachers, Jesus Christ the Son of God, called them “hypocrites”, “blind guides, ” “blind, ” “whited sepulchers, ” “serpents, ” and “ye generation of vipers” (Matt. 23:23-34.)
John the Baptist exposed the Pharisees/Sadducees:
John the Baptist called the Pharisees and Sadducees (the religious leaders of his day) “a generation of Vipers” (snakes) (Matt. 3:7.)
The Apostels Paul and John exposed Demas/Diotrephes:
Paul named Demas for loving the world. “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world” (2 Tim. 4:10).
John named Diotrephes. “I wrote unto the church; but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not” (3 John 9.)
Paul named Alexander the coppersmith. “Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil. the Lord reward him “cording to his works: Of whom be thou ware also, for he hath greatly withstood our words ” (2 Tim. 4:14-15.)
Beware of the gospel of Prosperity/Word of Faith Doctrine: It is a LIE, and No Lie is of the Truth. Price, Jakes, Dollar, Copeland, Jenkins, Long, and the host of others who teach this Lie are the ministers of Satan.
2 Corinthians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works.

Great analogy!!! Many readers of this site will undoubtedly begin using the same old cliches (touch not…) and some will even say the content is risque’. My challenge to them is to compare and contrast what the pimps are saying to what the WORD says. If you do that, and be intellectually honest, you will find that the big pimps, (and many other small time “Tony Montana’s ” in every major city who start buying up local cable time), are prostituting their sheep!!! If they didn’t reflect the absolute bondage and blindness of these people, it would be hilarious to read some of what they say. It is so absolutely predictable. It’s almost as easy as going up against a Jehovah’s Witness. I say “almost” because at least the Witnesses have a respect for the Word. And if you can get past their automatic defenses, getting to their hearts is almost child’s play - if you are equipped with a knowledge and understanding of Scripture and are guided by the Spirit of God.

I was shocked when I stumbled onto this website, and saw the photos above. It was hilarious because I recognized all of them, and then when I got to John Jenkins picture, I was like, I know him, but not sure where, until I read on. I have visited FBCG several times and enjoyed myself for the most part, however nothing has compelled me to join that church. I was recommended to that church from a friend, so my question to you and any one else that wants to comment…Where are the good bible believing, preaching sound Word, baptist churches, in the Maryland area? When I lived in VA, I found a great church, however not wanting to drive so far on Sunday, when I moved to the Silver Spring/Laurel/Bowie area opted and still opting to find a church more local. Any suggestions?

Here’s the problem. If a church is doing its job, the general public isn’t going to hear much about that church. In general, they won’t have a cavernous buidling, the elders won’t be in the news, hobnobbing with city officials, congressmen, or others. In general, the church organization will be going about the business of edifying/buidling up the people, equipping them to go out and make a difference.
Consequently, you aren’t going to be able to find a church based on who’s on TV or who’s meeting at the Convention Center or who is on The Word Network.
One of the previous postings has a comment from a fellow listing the name of a church here in PG county - It’s over on Goodluck Road. Take a look at the posting dealing with Jamal-Harrison Bryant. It’s about the fifth or sixth comment.
Comments and recommendations from anyone else out there are more than welcomed.

First off, since this is my first time posting anything on this site, I just wanted to encourage you Brotha Melvin, and any other brothas & sista’s in Christ Jesus, who continue to contend for the faith; being forever diligent and steadfast in this race that is set before us.
Just as Jesus said when speaking to His disciples of the things to come, “…and you will be hated by all for My name’s sake” But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 10:22 + Mark 13:13). Keep pressing on!!! One of the brothas at the local fellowship I attend told me about this website for I come from a church that is certainly on the same road as the wolves mentioned above. (That is certainly the reason I am no longer there/the Lord moved me). Now I’m not gonna start testifying or nothing for that would be too long of a story and that’s not what the Lord told me to do. However, I would like to share some scripture that has been laid on my heart for some time now that many of the “brethren” tend to forget (for whatever reasons)- feel Christ on this though:
Luke 6:20-26~ Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said: Blessed are you poor. For yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. Blessed are you when men HATE you, and when they EXCLUDE you, and REVILE you, and cast your name as EVIL, for the Son of Man’s sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven. For IN LIKE MANNER their fathers did to the prophets. Therefore DO NOT BE PARTAKERS WITH THEM. For you WERE once DARKNESS, but now you are LIGHT IN THE LORD. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all GOODNESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, and TRUTH), FINDING OUT WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE LORD. And have NO FELLOWSHIP with the unfruitful works of DARKNESS, but rather EXPOSE (REPROVE) THEM. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. Yesterday, a relative told me that they haven’t watched Eddie Long lately because he made a statement that (though they couldn’t remember what it was he said ) seemed to take the glory for himself and his church instead of giving the glory to God. Can you please support this statement with scripture! And since you have a degree in theology, you should be able to easily handle answering this question, instead of coming back with the I dont have time, or I dont have to answer that, if you can’t see it, then you are blind kinda remarks.

How is it that your degree in theology did not prevent you from espousing at least 3 heretical doctrines that the church has rejected since the very beginning??
A degree is only as good as the institution issuing it. If I have a degree from Fred’s Institute of Apostasy and Auto Mechanics, it’s not much of a degree, is it??

I love my God, He leads and guides. I read my bible for myself on a daily basis. I have visited a church and the preacher said we take two offering, I got up and left. I gave what God ask. They also start the second offering with the amount. One preacher started out asking for $500 off the bat. Another preacher started with $45. They say form a line. Big giver go first to get touched by the MAN, by the PIMP. I received this message from my Lord, “They make merchandise of my people!”
