Barthelme

Barthelme is a fluid, two-column theme with many features for WordPress. It’s about presenting the content in a slightly different way, using whitespace as a major design element.

Barthelme is fully compatible with WordPress 2.5.x (legacy WordPress 2.0.x users may download Barthelme v3.1) and features:

The Barthelme theme, © 2006–2008 Scott Allan Wallick, is licensed under the GNU GPL. Please feel free to alter this theme in any way that pleases you. All I ask is that you allow my original design credit to remain.

Installing the theme files

The theme is installed just like any other WordPress theme. You can read more detailed installation instructions on the WordPress Codex.

If you are upgrading from an older version, first reset the theme options in the Theme Options submenu. Then delete all the Barthelme theme files and folders before uploading the new version.

To install the theme:

Extract the /barthelme/ folder from the archive Upload this folder to the /wp-contents/themes/ directory Activate the theme in the Design dashboard menu After activating, visit the in Design › Theme Options Enjoy. And then consider donating.

Development & Subversion

If something isn’t working correctly with this theme, please visit Barthelme on Google Code to file issues, report problems, help create documentation, etc., because the more everyone shares, the better things can be.

You can also access the Barthelme Subversion repo, which hosts pre-release fixes and allows changes to be tracked. If you would like to directly assist in the development of Barthelme and are familiar with Subversion, just let me know.
