Alix Delva has a dream. This dream is not to gain success or wealth. Alix dreams of the day he will be able to go anywhere without the obvious stares of strangers. When he will be able to eat in public and without the assistance of others. When the searing pain throughout his head will stop and he can once again return to the workforce to provide for his four children.

Alix is forty one and has come to Miami from Haiti through the assistance of his pastor. For the last six years Alex has struggled with a rapid tumor growth on his face which has now painfully stretched his upper lip to an unimaginable size and also created a large bump on his forehead.  He is unable to work because of the severity of the tumors and desperately needs to have surgery before the tumors expand any more.
