Last year, Summer Blast Daycamp received a special visit from The Coast Guard! A rescue helicopter touched down right on the Trinity Church parking lot! Members of The Coast Guard spent the afternoon with over 300 OOS children. The theme for the week was "Storm Chasers" and children were educated about rescue and disaster preparedness plans. While on campus, The Coast Guard demonstrated how their drug sniffing dog locates illegal drugs. They also gave an anti-drug class to all of the children.
Each week, Out of School Summer Blast Daycamp kids participate in fun and challenging activities. Field trips are planned each week to enhance the learning experience and make it a "Summer Blast!"
