The Hands-On Project is a project in which the girls get involved by collecting assigned items to minister to those in need.
New Project for 2009...
For our project this year, we will be collecting items for the women’s Teen Challenge in Columbus, Ohio. Here is the list of what these ladies need:
Powder-free latex gloves—large size—for kitchen use Tall kitchen trash bags Paper towels Toilet paper Napkins Laundry detergent Bed pillows Copy paper for printing Journals Gel pens, markers, glitter pens Stickers NIV Bibles Sewing notions (needles, thread, etc.) Deodorant Lip gloss Shampoo/conditioner Lotion
These items can be brought to your Retreat or Prims & Daisies Day.
2008 Project... Hand in Hand with Book of Hope
Girls have made salvation bracelets for their Hands on Project this year. A salvation bracelet will be given to each child at the viewing of The GodMan film.
So far over 7,100 bracelets have been made! Amazing job, girls!
