The recipes have been tried and tested, the books have been copied, edited and printed and NOW...they are HERE!!! On sale today, in the front foyer, ushers' desk and church office, are the 2008 "Taste of First Assembly" Cookbooks. The cost is just $12.00. This would make a wonderful gift for the holidays.

Military Bulletin Board
We are now updating our military bulletin board with names of family members of our church now serving in the military. If you have previously placed a picture and name of a person that is not serving now, please remove it. There will be slips at the information counter in the front foyer to place the name of your family member. You may also attach a picture.

Taste of First Assembly
December 7th
Sunday, December 7th at 6 PM our service will be in the Formal Room. There will be a time of worship; ministry by Pastor Brunson and then our Women's Ministries Department will host a "Taste of First Assembly." You will have the pleasure of tasting many of the recipes from their new cookbook. Please join

Christmas Cards for the Military
December 10th
We are endeavoring to bless our military personnel by writing an encouraging note in Christmas cards. Will you join us? Just place your note of encouragement and sign your name and we will address each card. There is a box in the front foyer of our church to place the cards. If you have a family member who is serving in the military, please put their name and address in the box as well. We would like them by Wednesday, December 10th.

Women's Ministries Mail Room
December 7th
Starting next Sunday, December 7th you can bring your Christmas cards (for our church family only) to the mail box area in the front foyer. You can save those stamps and give a donation to Women's Ministries. Remember to check the mailbox for your cards after each service...we don't deliver.

Angel Tree 2008
December 17th
Our 2008 Angel Tree is by the carport entrance on the bulletin board. Please choose an angel gift tag, along with instructions, and help make Christmas a little brighter for a child from our congregation. Please have them wrapped and returned by Wednesday, December 17th to the church office.

55 Alive Christmas Party
December 20th
Our senior adult fellowship, know as 55 Alive, is having their annual Christmas Party on Saturday, December 20th at 5 PM in the Formal Room. They are selling tickets at the information desk in the front foyer. The cost is $3.00 per person. This is to cover the cost of the meat and dessert. Please bring a covered dish or salad. If you desire to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a $10.00 gift. Ladies, bring one for a lady; men, bring one for a man. Get your tickets today!

Water Baptismal Service
December 21st
There will be a water baptismal service on Sunday, December 21st during our 10:45 AM morning worship service. Please call the church office @ 351-1827 if you desire to participate.

It's Cruise Time!
February 20th
On Friday, February 20, 2009, there will be a Valentine Dinner Cruise on the Starlite Princess out of St. Pete. The cost is $50.00 per person, which includes transportation. A deposit of $25.00 is required by January 4th with full payment by January 18th. Please note: there will be no refunds. Sign up today at the ushers' desk, seating is limited.

First Assembly Caribbean Cruise
October 5th - 10th
The cost includes transportation on First Assembly bus. The initial deposit of $100.00 is due by Sunday, April 5th and final payment is due by Sunday, August 16th. Deposits of any amount can be paid with note stating "Carnival Cruise." Your balance will be available on line at your convenience. Passports are mandatory. NOTE: If you have an interest, please sign up at your earliest convenience. This will help us measure the interest in this cruise. There is no obligation without a deposit.
