What money can buy? Can it buy love? Security? Whatever. But recent research reveals a very interesting thing about humans - that money can be a factor in improving one's performance.

True, with money you can make the world revolve around you. But even though, it cannot really buy you eternal bliss. Like any material wealth, money is temporary. One big fire or one strong or powerful earthquake can swept you all your money.
I heard one story about a very rich man who owns an ice cream company but ironically he cannot even taste the ice cream his company manufactures. Yes, this is quite funny, but surely, money cannot be all to a person.
This research is not really a revelation but a validation of an already age-old observation about just what money can bring to people.
In the Philippines, I learned of a certain group whose members work hard and almost non-stop. More surprisingly, money is not central or the prime factor why they are compelled to do so. These people work hard and moved by their faith.
Aside from science, I think future researches should also look into the relationship of faith and spirituality to performance.
