Reaching Out in Word and Deed

Activities and ideas to help you and your church present the good news of saving faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.  This section includes ways to express your faith in both words and in actions.  Many ideas will help you "open the door" to faith and to your church among people who would not otherwise consider coming to a worship service.

Inviting and Welcoming New People

This section suggests ways that you may extend an invitation to your church and to faith in Christ as well as hospitality ideas to make guests feel at home once they come.

Including and Involving People

Here you'll discover ideas for incorporating people (especially those new to your congregation) into the life and ministry of your church so that they'll want to "stick around" once they've begun coming.

Growing in Christian Discipleship

These ideas and activities focus on helping people grow deeper into the Christian faith, become involved in ministry, and develop into leaders in the church and community.
