Every college in the country gets the opportunity that NDSU recently had. I am talking about the early signing period for athletes to come both further their education and sporting career at NDSU.
The campus, coaches, faculty and everyone else involved should feel proud with the reception these potential have given them. They are sold on NDSU being a perennial power in a mid-major conference. This can be accredited to how the Bison are portrayed in the area surrounding NDSU.

The Bison look to be returning to pre-season form as they added on another win to extend their current streak to three wins in a row. The last time the Bison lost was against Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls on Oct. 18. The Bison won the game by the score of 48-27.

It was a big weekend for the NDSU women’s volleyball team, as they clinched the Summit League title with a win over Centenary on Friday, and defeated the second place Oral Roberts on Saturday.

Saturday’s game against Northern Iowa marked the start of Carolyn Dehoff’s NDSU coaching career, and her debut was mixed with some good and bad. At times her inexperienced team showed some promise, but they still have some lessons to be learned.

The Bison wrestling season officially got underway this past weekend at the annual Bison Open, which is held in the Bison Sports Arena. Teams including the University of Minnesota come from all around to take part in one of the earliest forms of wrestling action.
