Movies getting stale

It seems 2008 is not going to be a year for movies. For video games perhaps, with many awesome releases this year like “GTA IV,” “Metal Gear IV,” “Fallout 3,” “Resistance 2,” “Dead Space,” etc, but definitely not for movies.
It seems Hollywood has run dry of new ideas. All the major movies this year are either comic book or book adaptations, or reboots of popular movies like the “Bond” series.

Like most NDSU students, I would have to say that I very much enjoyed having last Tuesday, Veterans’ Day, off from school. The day provided a chance to relax, catch up on homework and other tasks.

Guy Ritchie recently got to see his sons for the first time in almost a month. It seems Guy and Madonna are getting ready to be divorced, and already Madonna is going into control freak mode.

Now that he has cinched the election, Barack Obama is quickly forming his plan on how to transition between the administration of President Bush, and his own. Thankfully, it includes some immediate policy reversals such as lifting the Global Gag Rule that was used to decline medical assistance to combat AIDS in third world countries.
