Love or duty, career or devotion to family, intrigue, suspense and sacrifice. The terrifying history of the Trojan War is reborn in the Askanase Auditorium Nov.19-23 in the Greek tragedy “Iphigenia at Aulis.”
The story takes place in 406 B.C. “It is a remarkable script for the present day,” Dr. Paul Lifton, associate professor of Theatre Arts at NDSU, said. The play depicts the cost of war which resonates with contemporary wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
