Resource Library Policies and Procedures
The Resource Library at the Missouri Annual Conference is here to serve the local churches across the state. It is financed by your apportionment dollars. Our desire is to provide you with a variety of resources to help in your church programming. In order for us to serve the many churches of our Conference, we have established a set of policies to enable everyone to receive the greatest benefit.
*Our Resource Library is a valuable asset provided for the use of all our churches. It is important that we treat it as such. We hope to provide materials for everyone’s use for a long time in the future.
If there are items you would like to see in our Library, please feel free to let us know. You can contact the Conference Center by phone toll-free at 877-736-1806.
How to request resources:
When to request
Please submit orders as soon as possible ahead of the time you will need them. We will make every effort to mail them out First Class, to make it to your destination in time, for you to preview them before you use them. In case of a conflict or heavy scheduling, we will let you know when to expect your order.
Is there a cost for using Conference resources?
When and how should items be returned?
All resources should be returned the day following use by first class mail or in person. No resource should be passed on to another person without prior consent of the Resource Manager. The person to whom the resource is checked out to, will be responsible for its safe return or in case of loss or damage, the compensation to the Conference for replacing the item.
Please make sure all videos are rewound, and all guides or other printed materials/kits are included with the return. Videos are mailed in a crush-proof mailing case and should be returned in the same case.
*All resource material should be returned via First Class Mail, regardless of what the post office may advise. This is the only way we can meet the great demand for many of our most popular resources!
What if a video is lost or damaged?
The user assumes responsibility for any damage to resources and will be billed for the cost of repair and/or replacement. If a resource is damaged while in your possession, please notify the Resource Manager immediately. Likewise, if a resource arrives damaged, please let us know before you attempt to use it. Lost resources are the responsibility of the user and will be handled the same way as damaged resources.
Negligence in returning the resources or not properly replacing damaged/lost resources will result in Library privileges being suspended until further notice.
