Being a big fan of New York Style Bagel Crisps, I was excited to have the opportunity to try out their new Focaccia Sticks recently. Available in a variety of three flavors--Roasted Garlic and Herb, Rosemary and Sea Salt, and Quattro Formaggio--this Focaccia Sticks pack a punch when it comes to crunch!

If you like eating croutons out of the bag, you'll love these. I personally thought the Quattro Formaggio flavor was the best (is that any surprise since I love cheese?) and found the Roasted Garlic and Herb to be fairly good while the Rosemary and Sea Salt just tasted odd to me. Perhaps that's because rosemary is not a favorite herb of mine?

We shared some of these with our extended family and many of them loved them. I'd wager to guess that if crunchy is your thing, these will hit the spot for you!

We finally got the garage sale closed down last night at close to 6 p.m. and I went inside and crashed! I had been craving Taco Bell all day (Thanks to the free tacos they are giving away next week, I've had them on my mind!) so my husband graciously went and got me some. By the time he got home, though, I was too tired to eat and went straight to bed! So much for getting some blogging done!

We're not so swamped today with folks coming to our sale--they've been coming in a steady stream instead of massive hoards--so I'm really hopeful I'll be able to get some blogging done today in between waiting on customers!

The 2009 Entertainment Books are hot off the press and I have five copies to give away today!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Entertainment Books, these are coupon books jam-packed with money-saving coupons for your local community. There are coupons for local restaurants, shops, attractions, and much more.

The majority of the restaurant coupons are buy one meal, get one free--which works out to be a very inexpensive date! My husband and I are excited about using our book to try out some new restaurants in our area on the cheap this year.

Our book also has lots of coupons for 30% off dry cleaning, which will come in very handy when I need to take my husband's work clothes into the cleaners. In addition, I was thrilled to find some coupons for local children's consignment shops as well as discounts for travel through HotWire.com--our favorite place to find great travel discounts!

Each book will vary some since your area has different restaurants, shops, and attractions. However, you can be guaranteed there will be a number of coupons which will be right up your alley. If you are looking for a way to save money while still enjoying an occasional family treat or outing, the Entertainment Book is a superb way to do that. These also make excellent gifts for those friends and family!

Banquet recently came out with a new line of frozen meals called Banquet Select Recipes. Priced at around $1.50 each, the Select Recipes line was introduced to "help families stay on budget without compromising quality."

Now while I'll admit that I wouldn't really equate much of anything from the frozen dinner section of the grocery store with "quality", I was fairly impressed with these dinners. I especially enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan and found that the chicken tasted surprisingly well for a frozen dinner.

I've been getting scads of emails on a daily basis from folks who are giving things away on their blogs and asking if I'd link to their giveaway. While I'm glad that everyone's being so generous, I just don't have time or space to highlight all the giveaways going on in cyberspace.

However, I came up with an idea: what if I were to post a Mr. Linky here every week and everyone who was hosting a giveaway could leave their link? This would help streamline things for me and also, hopefully, generate lots of traffic for your giveaways.

Father's Day is this Sunday and while I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing for my dad and my husband, I'm sure there are many others who are still looking for some great ideas.

My dad is very easy to please. He doesn't like gifts, he likes handmade cards and letters so that's what he normally gets and that's what he's getting again this year. It's always so good to sit down and write out my thoughts of gratitude and appreciation to him for all he has done for me.

My husband is also easy to please. Up until this year, he always received a card and a special home-cooked dinner. This year, since we have more wiggle room in the budget, I'm actually buying him something. But it's not anything fancy or extravagant. Instead, he's getting dress clothes, thanks to Sears. And I know he'll be happy as a lark since, unlike most men, he likes to shop and buy clothes!
