iPhone Demos

Here’s a rundown of the folks who I’ve spoken to about demoing at the August Silicon Valley MoMo tonight at AOL:

Tim Kay from Boopsie has demoed their search application at MoMo before, and will show off an iPhone specific version tonight. Fabrizio Capobianco has been working to get Funambol support for the iPhone as well as posting some info of general interest to iPhone hackers. Donnie Flood from AdMob (disclosure: my employer) is going to show off an iPhone specific advertisement unit we’ve been working on. Song Huang from SoonR will be showing off the iPhone specific version of their application for desktop file and application access. Someone from Mundu is going to show off their IM application. Sunil Vemuri from reQall is going to show off the iPhone version of their mobile memory aid application Edwin Aoki from AOL is going to show off TinyBuddy, an IM application with Safari version that they’ve published the source code for.

If you come by the event and have something you can explain in just a few minutes, grab me at the event and if we have extra time you can show it off. See you all tonight!

August 2007 Meeting Details

We actually did have a meeting spot lined up for the first Monday of the month, but because my email server was apparently rejecting messages for a while I wasn’t able to confirm it. However, I was able to get a hold of the necessary folks to make sure that we can have the meeting next Monday instead. So here are the meeting details for the August 2007 edition of the Silicon Valley Mobile Monday meeting:

Lots of folks have been hacking away at the iPhone both through the browser and outside of it, the iPhoneDevCamp generated a bunch of interesting projects, and some fantastic applications and services have started to come together. Come by to see a selection of the ongoing work or chat about whatever idea you’re working on or would like to see.
