Mobile Monday Silicon Valley

Given that 3GSM is coming up in just two weeks I was considering pushing off the February MoMo and just planning something for March. There was a lot of interest in having the event this month however, both from people who aren’t going to be out at 3GSM and folks who are looking for a little warmup before the big event. A few people have pinged me at recent events wanting to do a presentation of what they’re working on, so it seemed pretty obvious to me that it’s time for another Demo Night!

Demo night is an opportunity to show off what you’ve been working on to the rest of the group. Those of you who have been around MoMo in the Bay Area for a while have probably been to a demo night or two already. The demo slots are short to keep things energetic and interesting, so if you want to show off what you’ve got make sure you’ve honed your demo beforehand.

The Trolltech folks will be there to show off the Greenphone (if I can find a free second or two to slap some stuff together I might show off some of my own hacks for it). I think we’ll also see a new product or two from folks who have been working in silence for a while, and hopefully a few familiar faces from the audience playing a different role for the evening.
