August 2006 Mobile Monday

Tuesday, August 1st, 2006

Hey folks, the August 2006 Mobile Monday is coming up next week and we’re going to be back up north in Berkeley again! The essential details:

What: August 2006 Mobile Monday (Usability and Design) When: August 7th, 2006 7:00pm Where: Haas School of Business classroom C230 (2220 Piedmont Avenue, University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA 94720-1900) Who: Anyone interested in mobility Cost: Nothing!

We had a bunch of “visiting Berkeley” info in the last post, which is still valid info. We’re in a different room this time, but the room is right across the courtyard from the auditorium we were in last. So if you’re unsure, just head to where you went last time and start looking for Mobile Monday signs.

The theme for this meeting is Usability and Design, a suggestion from Chris Dury at the last Mobile Monday and a lot of people liked it. The presentations are going to be focused on following the design and decision making process for a particular application. I’ve been using this article about Tower Bloxx as an example of what we’re going for. And actually Digital Chocolate is going to be giving one of the presentations (although they’ll be talking about a different product, not Tower Bloxx). See you all next week!
