I don't buy much on Cafepress shops due to the shipping costs, but some of the US presidential stuff is very amusing and quite tempting. I know my mother or sister would get a kick out of some of these:
You can find loads more over on Cafepress
You can find loads more over on CafepressDespair.com's tshirts get better and better.
I presume the latest one is inspired by the US presidential elections (click to enlarge):

ENN chose CoolSites.ie as their web pick last week, which is really nice.
Here's what they had to say:

Here's what they had to say:
It seems that ENN's very own weekly web pick is no longer the only service seeking out interesting new destinations worthy of a visit. CoolSites.ie is itself a rather cool place to discover daily web picks from all corners of the internet.
I have an annoying habit of grabbing domain names on whim and then promptly forgetting why I bought them.
Coolsites.ie was one of those domain names that I grabbed a few months ago, as I knew instinctively that I would find a good use for it, I just wasn't 100% sure what...
Months later I came across a very tasty MT template called "Mid Century", which has been released under the GPL.
It's a simply gorgeous template and combines a lot of features that I felt were ideal for a site like CoolSites.ie, so I'd have been rather silly not to make use of it.
It's now live!
I plan on posting a site every day if I can, so if you know of any nice, cool or simply interesting sites that I should mention please let me know via email to submissions@coolsites.ie. I'd strongly recommend that you use the subject line "coolsites.ie submission", as it will get lost in my inbox otherwise.
(Please bear in mind that I do not use Windows, so if a site requires IE6 or 7 to render properly I won't be able to see it)
I'll also be asking a few other people to do guest posts, as I think spreading the subjectivity might not be a bad idea! (If that makes any sense)

I've got a few Zohan tshirts to give away over on Film Reviews

There seem to be a lot of URL shortening services out there.
While TinyURL has been around for a long time a lot of Irish users opt for url.ie, but in recent months there seems to have been a lot more added.
While competition is generally a good thing there's only so much you can do with a URL shortening service.
Custom aliases, 301 redirects and a lot more besides have all been done. At this stage the main difference between most of the services would seem to be the actual domain they're based off.
Hover, however, is a little different.
To start with it's not 100% free, which is a pity, but it comes with some very different ideas (if someone else has done it already I haven't seen it yet - sorry!).
On signup you can choose your own subdomain, so I'm using mneylon.hover.com (I know! So original!)
So if you want to get to my hosting recommendation, for example, you can go to mneylon.hover.com/hosting, while my blog can be reached via /blog
The service gets a lot more interesting if you look at the premium service ($25 / year) which allows you to use your own domain, though as it's a Tucows service they expect you to register the domain through them.
The interface is still in need of some work, but it's an interesting new take on the entire url shortening services and I'll be interested to see if they can capture any attention with it.

As most regular readers have probably gathered by now, I like tshirts. Actually that's a lie. I love tshirts.
Today is a tshirt bonanza day, as not only did a couple of tshirts arrive courtesy of Pat, but a friend of mine in Australia finally unveiled her new tshirt shop.
GotInk offers a nice range of humorous tshirts in a nice range of colours and sizes.
At the moment shipping is only available to Australia, but they're planning to offer international shipping very soon.
They're also offer a custom tshirt service, which is pretty cool!

TshirtHell like to push the boundaries with their tshirts. They're not the rudest and crudest tshirts available, but some of them can be pretty "interesting".
Their latest addition for kids is simple, yet brilliant (click to enlarge)

They're also running an $8 sale at the moment (sizes and styles are limited to what they have in stock)
