Michele Neylon is founder and managing director of Blacknight Internet Solutions Ltd, a hosting and domain registration company based in Ireland.A lot of people encounter problems in pronouncing his first name correctly.
The correct pronunciation is mÄ“ke'lÄ (if you can read phonetics - if you can't you'll just have to believe me).
His name is of Italian origin and has one "L".

In 2006 he was shortlisted for both Internet Entrepreneur and Best Blogger.
In 2008 he was shortlisted in three categories; Business Blogger, Internet Entrepreneur and Internet Marketer.
He won the IIA Net Visionary Awards in 2008 for Best Business Blogger and Best Internet Marketer


He is on the Irish enum policy advisory board, where he represents the Irish Internet Association.
He is actively involved in the internet / ICT industry in Ireland as well as being an actively involved with several open source projects.
He has given talks on a range of topics from email filtering, through blogging to online marketing to a number of organisations including Skynet, IIA, local enterprise boards, ICANN and Investnet / First Tuesday.
