More snow on the way

Although students had a snow day Tuesday, crews were busy clearing the sidewalks at Muskegon heights High School. Brian Phipps, left, and Thomas Wesson cleared the main entrance. They work for an independent snow-removal business hired by the school district.If it's any consolation, the weather experts say you're not a wimp if you're sick of the snow. We're getting hammered this winter and the snow shows no signs of going away any time soon.

Ottawa County Sheriff's Department officers investigate the scene of a fatal crash at U.S. 31 and Taylor Street in West Olive Monday morning.KALAMAZOO -- The weather is reversing itself again, bringing snow and falling temperatures back to Southwest Michigan after delivering driving rain and higher temperatures over the weekend.
Meanwhile, slick roads may have contributed to a fatal crash police were investigating this morning at Taylor Street and U.S. 31.

You don't need to look farther than the Saginaw Bay to notice this winter is different from the past few years.
Massive ice piles have formed, mounds that haven't been seen in about 20 years, said Ed Clements, 32, who regularly fishes on the bay.
"The ice piles are huge," he said. "There's some pretty big piles of ice from the wind and the thawing and the (freezing). ... Some of them are pretty impressive."
