Evolving fluctuating rhythms and synthetic sounds model and define the smoothness of the environments which are evoked by the three tracks found in this official debut work by the dj and producer Feder, from Lecce.

Produced between 2003 and 2008, Pears contains a varied range of intentions; minimal techno contaminated by elegant melodies, icy rhythms and crisp sound layers. Pears.

Listen attentivly to the world under yourself. And autumnal blooming deserts, the world of foliage, the sky from mind pictures will appear.

Depth? It’s impoosible to talk about it, to define it by words. Infinite. Mysterious. Inexplicable…

To say No Barca is a brutal track might be a little overboard but this stormer boasts some serious floor-stomping elements for the DJ that likes to shift into overdrive, No Barca is where it’s at. The haunting continues with Cliche, a moody and bottomless head bobber with a hurling synth line and punchy, organic drum sounds. Fantoft strips things way down to skeletal clicks and pops.

Combine that with some choice middle eastern vocal cuts and your left with another rarefied piece of dance music bliss. More middle eastern percussion samples and an unlikely Blade Runner esque jazz horn fuze together on Salazaar to round up a very unique EP for us, and we hope for you as well.

Brace yourself for somethin’ oh-so-jazzy, boys and girls. Our italian pal kriss joins the unfoundsound family by dishin’ out a five-track chef-d’œuvre entitled no.mad e.p. - where you get pleasantly clobbered by a dancefloor amalgamation of funky techno, organic jazz, groovy house and sampladelic ingenuity.

Prior to this ep’s release, a few of these tracks have already been played regularly by djs like guido schneider, someone else, barem and mauro picotto.

That said, all five tracks are dancefloor killers - each in its own jazzy or driving way. So listen up, djs! Download these bad boys and play and play and play - until your techno-colons fall out and your pubic hairs light on fire.

va - android lubricated tech funk (altf006)

Netlabel: www.alt-recordings.com
Style: minimal tech, funky minimal

After just over a year of putting out EPs on Alt, we are very pleased to present the first full length compilation, Android Lubricated Tech-Funk. The collection of tracks represents everything Alt is about, from deep experimental weirdness to peak-time dancefloor business. There are tracks on offer from nearly all the artists we have released since the beginning, and we are very pleased to welcome some new faces. You’ll recognise some of them, and may have never heard of others, but they all share the same twisted vision for where house, techno, electronica (and any other form of music) can go in the future.

Leif kicks things off with the mighty ‘Pushing Hands’, a loosely knitted bongo freakout that keeps the lounge-jazz vibe he is known for, but pushes his handling of percussion to a new level. Tone Def’s remix of Daniel Schneider’s ‘Miesekatze’ track takes a very different route, stripping everything back to it’s barest elements, with a trademark grooving beast of a bassline propelling the beat along. New to Alt, Le Jockey turns the pace up with a delightfully mental track full of pulsating techno rhythm, choppy micro-samples and a healthy dose of humour. Donk Boys take their sound deeper than usual on ‘Avgrundens Harskare’ (which means “lord of the abyss” apparently) for a sinister track rich in detail and melody.

Tone Def’s latest offering is pure four to the floor funk, all nagging hi-hats and quirky ticks riding over a granite bottom end. Tom Ellis returns to the Alt fold with a textbook bumping, grinding house cut full of tricksy rhythms and that unmistakable Trimsound funk. Just when you thought it was safe on the floor, Daniel Schneider throws a hefty curveball in the shape of ‘Ask That Bitch’ that rains down gallons of beautifully choreographed sounds. J-Lab pulls things back with ‘Somewhere’, carrying that trademark melodic moodiness that permeates his tracks before blossoming into an electro-flecked party monster. Closing down the party, Storlon’s penchant for trippy soundscapes goes to the next level on ‘Oenologia’, possessing an immense level of sound design.

alexxei n nig - songs from second floors (wim016)

Netlabel: www.whiteinmusic.net
Style: house, minimal house, technohouse

Alexxei n Nig duo is respectively formed by a Russian and an Italian brain. The first one started his career around the small clubs in London in 2000; he played then in Ibiza, Formentera and Sharm El Sheikh purposing a dj set oriented to deep techno rhythms.

Flying toTurin in 2005 he met Nig, that sunk roots into the first hip hop and turned during the 90’s into a us house classics selection. They oriented their work to create a personal conception of music and to enlarge the classic concept of deep underground to a meltin pot between percussive rhythmics and dubby synths, drawing on the club scene of the last 15 years.

In Turin they are monthly residents @ Doctor Sax, and they collaborate with different organizations and clubs of their city, then playing sporadically in clubs in Milan, for Exprezoo Records and had gigs in Ibiza on summer 2006 and Sharm el Sheikh in 2008, always mixing vinyls to personally created loops and effects.
