Yes, Minehead Baptist Church is the South West Regional Champion and has made it to the grand final in the national Baptist Union Web Awards.
It’s a real honour and we’d love to win! So please vote for us in the web awards final!
The voting only lasts a week – so get voting!!! (Voting closes at midnight on Saturday, 3rd May 2008.)
On Sunday, 27th April 2008, our morning services will be a bit different!
Instead of our normal 10.30am Morning Worship, we’ll be having two services and some food!
9.00 – 9.30am Coffee and Croissant
9.30 Р10.30am Informal Family Service (Cr̬che available)
10.30am Coffee in the middle (Please do not arrive before this time if you’re coming to the 11.00am Service.)
11.00am—12.10pm Morning Worship (There will be no children’s groups [JAM] or crèche during this Service.)
There won’t be coffee after the 11.00am Service – please come before at 10.30am!
Everyone is welcome at either service but the Informal Family service will be more for those with children and will include a crèche and some time for the children as a group.
Friday, 25th April 2008 8.00pm at The Ship Aground, on the quay at Minehead.
A talk and presentation by Dave Hopwood, Creative Arts Director at Lee Abbey, who will share his passion for movies and use them to explain somethings about himself and his faith.
Tickets £7 (includes first drink and a curry).
