Will this stop trackback spam?
The site has been hit repeatedly by “Buy Tramadol” spam trackbacks from an online druggery the last two days.
Just installed the Rice University Computer Security Lab’s plug-in designed to stop that. It’s called Trackback_Validator. We’ll see how well it works.
If not, I’ll explore other options and, if it’s the only effective option, disable trackbacks.

UPDATE: I also installed http://unknowngenius.com/blog/.....pam-karma/ “>Spam Karma 2
which does what Trackback Validator does, plus a lot more. Haven’t written and uploaded a bunch of posts since then, but so far, so good.
