Pronger gets the gate

While I’m happy that Colin Campbell brought the hammer down on Chris Pronger, I’m still not sure what to make of the eight games he got. Is he getting star player treatment or is it simply because the video of Pronger’s incident isn’t nearly as explicit as what happened with Chris Simon?

“This is a new start for him,†Risebrough said. “I called him [after trading for him]. You don’t very often get people as excited as this guy was. I mean, genuinely excited. This is a fresh start. Give him a fresh start. People deserve second chances.â€
