This program produces a report on Internet Explorer's current User Agent String, along with scripts to simulate User Agent Strings for other Internet Explorer versions and links to MSDN User Agent String articles.

CSS Test Pages

The CSS 2.1 test pages used to test Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 are used to verify a subset of basic CSS 2.1 property support as well as scenarios called out in the CSS 2.1 specification.

Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar

Internet Explorer 8 Developer Tools does not currently include all the functionality from the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar add-on. However, all functionality from the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar add-on will eventually be part of Internet Explorer 8 Developer Tools, with the following exceptions:

View list of attributes for selected element Instead of listing attributes in a separate pane, the DOM tree in Internet Explorer 8 Developer Tools includes all attributes and allows modifying, adding, and removing them in-place.

The Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar add-on is not available for Internet Explorer 8 but is still available for use with Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7.
