Michael J. Fox Foundation "Plays to Win" at Third L.A. Fundraiser
On Thursday, May 8, The Michael J. Fox Foundation raised $600,000 for Parkinson's research at "Playing to Win the Fight against Parkinson's," a poker tournament held at Social Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. In an exclusive interview airing Monday and Tuesday, May 12 and 13, Michael J. Fox talked to "Access Hollywood" about Parkinson's disease, the Foundation's progress, and his excitement to be back in Los Angeles surrounded by friends supporting the Foundation.
Guests at the star-studded event included Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke of "Scrubs," Teri Hatcher of "Desperate Housewives," Julie Bowen of "Boston Legal," Alan Ruck (Michael's former castmate on "Spin City") and his wife, actress Mireille Enos, Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete, Montel Williams and his wife, Tara Fowler, and poker champion Jamie Gold.
