The Michael J. Fox Foundation today announced that it would award Santa Monica-based biotech ArmaGen Technologies, Inc., up to $1 million if all milestones are met to take practical steps toward developing a “Trojan horse” delivery technology for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
MJFF funded 15 high-risk, high-reward Parkinson’s disease research projects under Rapid Response in the first half of the year. Applications are still being accepted, and a total of $2 million in Rapid Response awards is expected by year’s end.
