Salvation in Christ

Is the Godless theory of evolution true? Study nature, you will see how it could not have happened by chance (evolution). Look at order of the stars, the moon and sun, could it have happened by a random explosion of nothing? The sun and the moon are just the perfect distance from the earth for life to survive. How could nothing have exploded into the trillions of stars in the universe? What started the spark of life to even begin?

If evolution did not create the universe then how did we get here? This universe that we live in was clearly designed by an all-powerful God. The Holy Bible is God’s record to us of how the universe began. It says that God created the earth, man, animals, planets, stars, etc… When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, it brought sin into the world. That is why we have diseases and suffering. About 2,000 years ago (because of His love for us), God sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross to pay for our sins. In the Book of Romans, chapter 3:23, it says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.†We cannot get to heaven because of sin, “For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).†However, it also says that we are, “Justified by His (Jesus) grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.†(Romans 3:24) Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.†John  3:16.  He also said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.†Salvation is God’s free gift of eternal life and fellowship with our Creator. You cannot earn your salvation by any  kind of works, but only by being forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness through the Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Many people think they have to be “good†to get to heaven. If it takes “goodness†to get to heaven then Christ would never have had to endure the cross and take on the sins of the world. Jesus himself said that it is a free gift from God that no man can give to you, you must accept it yourself. In the book of Ephesians chapter 2:8, it says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God…not of works.†In summary, God knew our problem (sin) and offered his only son as a sacrifice to pay for all of our sins so we can go to heaven. He died and rose again on the third day. However, if we do not accept God’s free gift, then we will never get to receive it. Ask God to forgive you and  repent of your sins with an honest heart.
