Life Center's Children's Ministries, called Kidworks, is dedicated to creating an environment where kids come to know, love, and follow Jesus - from the youngest baby to the coolest fifth grader. Everything done in children's ministry is based around that goal.

Kids in kindergarten through fifth grade love the atmosphere of Kidworks on Sunday mornings. The doors open fifteen minutes prior to the first service, and stay open for the rest of the morning. Children are welcomed into a pre-session area of games and activities where they can interact with their peers and small group leaders playing games until the service begins.
The service starts with fast-paced, high energy worship intermixed with activitites and announcements, followed by a large group teaching time. Lessons are illustrated with drama and props, with the use of multimedia throughout the morning.
After the lesson has been introduced through large group teaching, kids break into small groups which are created by grade level and gender (first grade boys, for example). They interact with a group leader and each other, doing activities based on the lesson just presented. Every month follows a theme based on a particular virtue. Kids learn the virtue of the month through Bible stories and characters.
On Sunday nights, kids stay in the main service through worship and then are dismissed to Kidworks HD (High Definition), which is geared to go to the next level. Kids have a lot of questions! Who is my God? How do I study my Bible? How do I share my faith? What is my faith? What is communion and baptism all about? Kidworks HD's goal is to answer these big questions in a discipleship-oriented atmosphere that gives kids the opportunity to open up and share.
Kidworks HD's format starts with games and some large group teaching, then breaks into small groups to talk. After kids have a chance to go over key questions, large group teaching kicks back into high gear and creates more questions, then kids return back to their small groups to interact more and dig deeper.

1. Jesus is our Lord. Our conduct, both personal and professional, will be like His. Philippians 2:4-6 states, "Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped." (NIV)
2. The Bible is Infallible & Absolute Truth. Our teaching will be consistent with God's Word. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All scripture is Godbreathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (NIV)
3. We are family-centered. We minister to the family as a whole, not only to children. Deut. 29:18 states, "The Lord made this covenant with you so that no man, woman, family, or tribe among you would turn away from the Lord our God." (New Living)
4. We are interpersonal. We seek to develop lasting, nurturing relationships. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three stands in not quickly broken." (NIV)
5. We will work with excellence and quality. We will always do the best we can with what we have. Colossians 3:22-23 reminds us, "Servants, do what you’re told by your earthly masters. And don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God." (Message)
